How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to dmca@lastasylumguide.com containing all of the following:
- 1Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
- 2A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- 3The exact URL(s) on our site where the allegedly infringing material appears
- 4A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- 5A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- 6Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, address, and phone number
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Response Time
We will acknowledge receipt of valid DMCA notices within 2 business days and will act on verified notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content within 5 business days.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate access to users who repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
